InterpreterNet gives interpreters greater
control over their profession. By connecting
interpreters directly with individuals
and organizations that employ interpreter’s
services, the interpreter is given the
ability to negotiate their own rates with
consumers and empower their careers.
REGISTRATION FOR INTERPRETERS IS FREE!
Here’s how it works:

Simply fill out the registration to
open an account. Your account will
be active immediately. You will receive
a confirmation e-mail verifying your
registration. You will now automatically
be sent information about available
interpreting jobs. You can register
the email address of your choice for
the available job notifications to
be sent to, including your mobile
device. Registration is completely
free!
- Once
you receive a notification of an available
job, you have the option of contacting
the requestor yourself and accepting
the job if you so desire. All the
contact info for each job will be
included in the available job e-mail.
Please remember it is up to you, the
interpreter, to negotiate your own
pay rate and billing method with the
requestor, as InterpreterNet does
not pay interpreters directly.

These are other features that you will
benefit from by utilizing InterpreterNet’s
services:
Most consumers are used to paying
a much higher price for interpreting
services than what the interpreter
earns. Freelance agencies often charge
$20-$40 more per hour than what they
pay the interpreter. Because InterpreterNet
only charges a minimal fee to consumers
for using our services, interpreters
have the ability to charge a higher
rate than what an agency often pays
them.
Although
you will receive all requests for
interpreters made through InterpreterNet,
you will also receive information
about available jobs that match your
specific skills as an interpreter.
Because we give the option to our
consumers to request interpreters
based on their certifications, qualifications,
and other areas of expertise, you
will often receive notifications of
jobs that match your specific interests
and skills.
